What is a good Freight company?

I am trying to ship an engine to Ontario in Canada. Does anyone know of a reputable company that is reasonable in cost for shipping freight? The engine probably weights ~350-500lbs. And I would be making my own crate to ship it in.

3. AVOID ups i used them and even after paying $40 for shipping they still asked for another $40 i refused and still had to pay the initial 40 for the delivery charges.
